MaskSense Packaging Design

Scope: Custom Packaging, Stickers + Instructional Inserts
Role: Materials Sourcing, Concept Development, Content Creation, Design, Project Management, Pre-Press, Print Management

To align MaskSense’s visual brand with its mission and vision, I collaborated closely with the team to develop compact, travel-friendly packaging that encourages users to bring MaskSense wherever they go. The project moved quickly from brand refinement into an intensive design and development phase focused on packaging and sticker visuals.

The process began with researching existing packaging solutions and sourcing sustainable, eco-friendly materials. After evaluating various options, we decided to use fully paper-based packaging and inserts to ensure curbside recyclability and compostability. Leveraging my experience in print production, I sourced sustainable paper materials while simultaneously developing a custom die line for the envelope-style packaging.

We balanced clarity and conciseness for the visual design, ensuring key product information was effectively communicated across the packaging, inserts, and stickers. The compact size was a priority, designed to fit seamlessly into a back pocket. Working closely with the team, I refined the content to be both informative and engaging. The final designs are playful and vibrant, featuring bright colors that reflect each scent’s essence and graphic patterns that subtly reference the science behind our sense of smell.
