Website Refresh for Stacy Levy
Scope: Mobile Responsive Wix Website
Role: Layout Design, Webpage Buildout, Content Organization + Implementation
Stacy Levy, a renowned sculptor specializing in ecological patterns and processes, needed a website refresh to modernize her extensive online portfolio of over 70 projects. While her existing site was rich in content, it required a refined, cohesive design to enhance usability and visual impact.
Working closely with Stacy and her studio assistant, I identified key objectives for the refresh, gathered content updates, and developed a strategy to improve the site’s structure. Rather than starting from scratch, I duplicated the existing site and reworked it from the back end—streamlining page layouts, establishing a cohesive color palette, and refining the information hierarchy through structured headline styles.
A key enhancement involved restructuring the project pages using Wix’s Content Manager system, allowing for dynamic page generation and a more scalable approach to organizing project details. The result is a modern, minimalistic website that provides a seamless user experience, placing Stacy’s striking visuals at the forefront to effectively tell the story of her work.
